Meet our Alumni
Alumni of the NOC-Bangladesh Office (National Outreach Coordinator ofBangladesh), operating under the IAU Office for Astronomy Outreach, are former national volunteers. Having typically joined the organization as undergraduate students to lead workshops, seminars, and dark-sky awareness campaigns, these alumni often transition into advanced academic and professional roles in STEM, such as pursuing prestigious international master’s programs in astrophysics. They remain an integral part of the network by mentoring current volunteers, supporting flagship events like the IAU-Abdul Jabbar Astronomy Workshop, and fostering a vibrant community dedicated to the IAU’s mission of “Astronomy for Everyone”.
